"This House is Cape May"
My wife and I were getting married the upcoming weekend and we needed a house for out bridal party and a few other couples. You flat out could not ask for more in a house! 2 min. Walk to beach and mall! Plenty of parking for everyone staying. We set up yard games next to the beautiful wrap around deck. Grilled lots of food for our guests on the opposite side of the yard which had plenty of outdoor seating there for everyone to eat. The kitchen is perfect for bigger groups of people with 2 dishwashers and like 3 ovens! Huge table for everyone to eat together. The bedrooms were all a little different and had their own private bathrooms which made it easy for even the most private of our friends to enjoy their stay (we all know how that goes). Then you have the overall feel and decor of the home. No detail was missed and there is beauty everywhere you look! I promise if you stay here, you will leave feeling like it was worth every penny! We cannot thank the owners enough! Hats off to you!

"Fabulous Cape May House for Family and Friends to Gather"
The Abbey is without question the best place to stay for large families and friends. We celebrated our 40th Anniversary in Cape May from May 5-8 with our children, grandson, siblings and their spouses – 20 altogether. Everyone was taken aback by the beauty of their rooms and private baths. The two kitchens are amazing – we all left inspired by the thought that went into the planning, decorating and preservation of this grand home. We had the best time sitting in the dinning room the table for 12. There are additional tables that can be joined together for more seating. When not in the dinning, the kitchen island was the next fabulous site to hang out. Love, love, love the kitchen. Don’t be afraid to bring the kids. There is a closet full of games and toys, multiple carpeted staircases to climb, a wraparound porch t sit and wave to the continual passing of horses and carriages (love that clip clop sound) and the large beautifully landscaped yard for them to tumble in. We were within two blocks of the beach, one block from a bike rental business, eateries and a hop, skip and a jump to downtown shopping, restaurants, and pubs. No need to move the car once you are there. The owner was gracious and accommodating, assuring that we would have a great stay at The Abbey. Truly we just loved being at The Abbey and hope to return time and again. It was an experience we will never forget.

"A little bit of heaven"
11 girlfriends recently stayed at the Abbey. From the moment we walked in, we felt peaceful, happy, and relaxed!! We dined out, though there was everything we could possibly have needed in this big beautiful home; the kitchen was the envy of every woman in our group. We all had our own bedrooms (a few stayed in the same rooms, but had separate, comfortable beds), many bathrooms, and luxurious mattresses!! We were able to sit around the kitchen bar together as we had breakfast and the front porch was so comfortable for our wine and cheese in the afternoon. While there were many televisions, we didn't have time to watch one. We all marveled at the time, effort, and love it must have taken to refurbish this lovely home! We would certainly recommend this beautiful Abbey.

“Great location & huge house”
Walking distance to everything, Large house with plenty of rooms and space for everyone to spread out. Wrap around porch and fenced in yard makes it great for kids. Plenty of off street parking. Newly remodeled kitchen has everything you need in it, and then some. Mrs Tillman was very accommodating and great to work with!

“The most amazing Victorian house”
People use the word "amazing" too often these days but I have to say it applies to The abbey. My husband, friends and I rented The abbey over a recent fall weekend and could not have had a better time. The house is large, clean, wonderfully decorated and the details wowed everyone. It's right in the center of town, a 5 minute walk from all of the shops and attractions. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, large kitchen and great porch to sit outside and watch the world go by. If you need, there is plenty of room for at least 8 cars in the driveway. A big plus in a town where parking is at a premium.
If you appreciate Victorian architecture, antiques and modern amenities, then The abbey is for you. Thank you, Barbara, for letting us into your wonderful home.

“Beautiful home, excellent location, great property for a group get-together”
The Breakers is a beautiful property and so well laid out! A group of friends wanted a relaxing weekend away and we were certainly not disappointed! We parked our cars in the back and didn't need to move them the entire time, walking to the beach and town for sightseeing and for dinner one night. The house itself is very welcoming, beautifully decorated and so comfortable; the fact that everyone had their own bedrooms and baths, but were able to spend time together in the common areas, made everything perfect! We also loved sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the front porch, enjoying the beautiful weather and watching the people walking by. We are already planning our next trip back to the Breakers!

This is a beautiful house that accommodates a large group of people, but still manages to feel cozy/homey. All of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms so that no one had to share. There is also a large rooftop deck with a view of the ocean. The owner is extremely nice and responsive--she answered all of our questions right away and showed us the house twice prior to our stay so that we could plan for our visit. I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you!

“Wonderful Time in a Beautiful Home”
We visited The Breakers for New Year's. Our party ranged in age from 75 to 3 and everyone had a great time. The house is a beautiful Victorian and it was decorated for Christmas, which was a very nice surprise. The location of this house could not be more perfect. It is close to the beach and the center of town. The mall is within walking distance, making getting around very convenient. We loved our time at the Breakers and we are already talking about going back next year.
